West Dallas TX

There is a real community feel in West Dallas, which is due partly to the close proximity of many of the top private schools in Dallas.

West Dallas TXWest Dallas is primarily made up of residential neighborhoods. This part of Dallas is bordered by Loop 12 or Northwest Highway to the south, LBJ Freeway or 635 to the north, Stemmons Freeway or Highway 35 to the West and Midway Road to the east.


This area came to life in the 1950’s with the resurgence of Love Field Airport after the war. Small starter homes dotted the area and as it’s popularity grew, along with the city of Dallas, larger homes and neighborhoods developed.
