Euless, Texas is named after Elisha Adam Euless, a native of Tennessee who moved to Texas in 1867 and started a cotton gin and a community center on his property. The community that developed around the land chose the name “Euless” in honor of the successful businessman and farmer.
Euless is home to 16 parks totaling 605 acres, as well as 24 athletic fields, two amphitheaters, a public golf course/conference center, a recreation center, three swimming pools, and tennis courts.
