Allen TX residents enjoy a wholesome community atmosphere with something for everyone. Allen High School's marching band, the Allen Eagle Escadrille, is the largest high school band in the world and has performed in the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California, the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Dublin, Ireland, and Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
Chase Oaks Golf Club offers 27 holes of championship golf surrounded by trees, creeks, lakes and hills, and is annually ranked in the Top 10 North Texas Courses by PGA members. The Edge at Allen Station Park is the largest outdoor facility of its kind, featuring a concrete skate park, two roller-hockey rinks, BMX track and visitor center. The newly opened Allen Event Center is a 188,000 square foot venue for concerts, trade shows, professional sporting events, community ceremonies and the Central Hockey League’s newest franchise, the Allen Americans. Arts of Collin County, a soon-to-open 100-acre arts park, will provide a place for arts, music, nature and education.
