I was involved in a project last year that was so much fun I wanted to include everyone. The program is called Build-A-Bear For A Child. You pay $20 to build a basic bear. If you want to add clothes or extras you pay extra to do so but at a discounted price. Here is the hard part, you must give your bear away, the good part, is it goes to an abused child.
I thought it would be a wonderful learning experience for young children (and old children like me) to make a special bear & give it away. A great way to start the holiday season.
I invite all of you to join me at the Build-A-Bear store at North Park Mall (N.W. corner of 75 & NW Hwy) at 6:00 Thursday December 3, 2009.
