REQUIREMENTS FOR DALLAS AND COLLIN COUNTY
You will need to obtain the following:
Texas Inspection www.texasaircheck.com (for emissions testing)
Upon receiving your inspection. Request a greensheet (from inspector).
Things you will need to register:
Texas Inspection (with greensheet)
Title or most recent registration receipt
Proof of Insurance
If vehicle is paid for you can turn title in and get a Texas title or you may keep your title and get “Registration Purposes Only.” It is better in the long run to change to a Texas Registration.
If you have lien holder then you have to do Registration Purposes Only.
