Dallas Cowboys are a part of the National Football League and kick-off in Texas Stadium. Dallas has been home to football legends Roger Staubach, Bob Lily, and Coach Tom Landry helping Dallas achieve the position as “America’s Team”. The Cowboys Stadium seats 80,000, making it the 3rd largest seating capacity stadium and is expandable to hold up to 111,000 through the use of standing areas making it the largest capacity stadium in the NFL. The stadium is the largest domed stadium in the world, has the world's largest column-free interior and the largest high definition video screen which hangs from 20 yard line to 20 yard line. The facility can also be used for a variety of other activities outside of its main purpose (professional football) such as concerts, religious ceremonies, basketball games, college football and high school football contests, soccer matches, Motorcross races and rodeos

 

Dallas Mavericks, a part of the National Basketball Association, play at the American Airlines Center. The Mavericks have consistently been an NBA Western Conference playoff powerhouse.

 

Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League plays to packed crowds at the American Airlines Center and are currently one of the hottest teams in the NHL.

 

Mesquite Championship Rodeo brings the nation’s top professional cowboys to Dallas each Friday night from April through September.

 

Professional Golfers Association makes regular stops at Dallas; GTE Byron Nelson Golf Classic and Fort Worth’s Colonial National Invitation

 

Texas Rangers play baseball spring through fall at the Ameriquest field in Arlington as a part of the American League.
